Do I have to register to view Tax, Super + You?

No, you don’t. Guest users can access the Tax, Super + You modules and their contents but you need to register for a Student account to complete quizzes and participate in forums.

If you need to enrol into your teacher’s class, you will need to register for a Student account. See the 'For Students' FAQs for further information.

How do I register for the Public course?

Anyone can get immediate and free access to the Public course without having to register. Just click on the 'Course overview' button to view the Tax, Super + You content.

Registering allows you to complete quizzes and participate in forums. To register, simply complete the Student Registration form.

Teacher assessment or feedback is not available in the Public course.

Why is my old Tax, Super + You account not working?

Tax, Super + You has been updated for 2015 and beyond. 

Any account you had for Tax, Super + You before January 2015 no longer exists.

What is Tax, Super + You?

Tax, Super + You is an educational online resource provided free of charge by the ATO. Teachers can use this resource to help their students improve their understanding of the Australian tax and super systems.

The resource is a complete learning management system. Its content aligns to the Australian Curriculum, focusing on secondary school students in years 7 to 12.

The resource incorporates:

    As overseas travel became more common in the 1960s, the ATO stopped issuing tax clearance certificates (which had previously reminded Australians planning on travel that they must ensure they had paid all tax owed prior to leaving the country).

Investments such as term deposits, cash management trusts or short-term government bonds.
